Thank you so much for coming out and speaking to our Amnesty International Chapter this week! We are so incredibly grateful that you took time from your busy life to come out to Poolesville midday and educate us about the foster care system. We were all very inspired by your eloquent, powerful, and informative speech. Every single attendee in that room left knowing something new! We've been sharing the most jaw-dropping information we learned from you on our school’s morning announcements and our club's Instagram. We are getting the information out there and educating our community. This was all made possible because of you and I can't express enough how thrilled and grateful we are for your participation in the event! You fired up a room full of kids and that is so incredibly powerful. Thank you for everything! On Thursday and Friday, we will be contacting our state senators to advocate for Maryland SB 24 before their hearing Friday afternoon.
